Czech Cabbage
45 minutes, 4 to 6 servings
Ingedients
Oil, 1 onion, 1 head thinly sliced cabbage, 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar, 1 tablespoon of sugar, 2 tablespoons flour, Salt and pepper to taste, 1-2 pieces thinly sliced bacon (optional)
Directions
1. Heat oil in pan over medium heat. 2. Add onions and brown in oil. Add bacon, if using. 3. Add cabbage, water, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper. 4. Cover the pan and boil for approximately 30 minutes until cabbage has become wilted and soft. Stir occasionally. 5. Sprinkle with flour to thicken the sauce and boil lightly for a few seconds. 6. Serve and enjoy!
