Carrots & Turnips

Ingedients

1 tablespoon margarine, 2 cups turnips-cubed, 3 carrots-sliced, 1 teaspoon brown sugar, Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

1. In a large frying pan, melt the margarine over medium heat. 2. Add the turnips and carrots to the pan. 3. Stir and arrange in a single layer again. Cook for 4 minutes. Stir and arrange in a single layer again. Cook for another 4 minutes without stirring. 4. Add 2/3 cup water, the sugar, salt and pepper. Stir and cover. 5. Cook until the vegetables are tender, about 10 minutes. 6. Uncover the pan and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring often until the liquid is almost gone. 7. Enjoy!
