We were founded as West Michigan Gleaners, Inc. in 1981, 6 months after Rev. Don Eddy rescued a truckload of perfectly good carrots from being put in the landfill in order to give them to people he knew were struggling to put food on their tables.
In the 43 years since then, we have
provided over 500 million meals’ worth of food to our community.
